Cicindela tranquebarica is a common spring-fall species that occurs statewide. This species occurs in a variety of habitats but is usually most common around lake shores, river and stream shores, and sandy habitats. It is similar to Cicindela repanda but is larger and the humeral lunule always projects obliquely toward the elytral suture.
