Cicindela lepida, also commonly named the Little White Tiger Beetle or the Ghost Tiger Beetle, is an elusive tiger beetle of sand dunes and white sand habitats. Although this species has a wide range in North America it is considered one of the rarer species. Land owners often attempt to stabilize sand dune habitats that these tiger beetles and other species of plants and animals rely on for habitat.
