The Pheasant Farm Gyrfalcon has returned for the third year in a row. This gyrfalcon was banded by Mike Erickson in the winter of 2001-2002 and wintered at this same location during the winter of 2002-2003. This photo was taken at about 150 yards, one can clearly see the band on the right leg. Photographed on November 16, 2003 near County Line Road, 6 miles east of Highway 83, Stanley County, South Dakota.
