Great Horned Owl nest at Richland Wildlife

I've been watching this nest since I first found it on April 3. It is
right next to a lightly traveled road and the female flushes
from the nest every time a vehicle comes by. However, she has succeeded in
hatching two owlets.
I'll keep tabs on this nest to see how things turn out.

Still two young in nest, both male and female in trees nearby.

One owlet fledged, about 100 ft. from nest. No sign of the second owlet. Parents hiding in nearby cedars hooting.
