Treasurers Report:
Annual Meeting, March 7, 2004, Submitted by Bernie Grimme
On September 2, 2003 the balance from the old checking account was closed out and a new account was opened. The old account was originally setup using the personal account feature. This provided free checking but caused issues when adding or removing people who could sign for the account. The new account is a business account and is now free checking if a balance is maintained over $4,000. If the amount falls below this, the cost is $15 per month. A startup kit with checks and ledger book were also purchased costing approximately $150.
Quicken software was then used to track the new account. The previous software was Access and it was difficult to reconcile the bank statements. There is no cost for this software.
Balance as of 12/31/2003 is $13,739.79. Items purchased since last meeting software applications for Web Site, calendars and postage, and SD Coalition membership. Some small transactions involved office supplies and memberships. Final checks were received for Angry Young Adults training. Following is the summary for Calendar Year 2003
